  • Zip folders are a compressed file that saves space on your computer. A zipped folder full of various items is more easily stored and transferred between computers than dozens of loose files. However, before you can start actually using items in a zip folder, you must unzip it. The process may seem confusing for a first-time PC user, but it only takes a few seconds if you approach the task using the right steps.

    Step 1

Right-click on the zip folder you want to unzip. If you aren't sure where you saved the file, click on the "Start" menu and type the folder's name in the "Search programs and files box."

    Step 2

    Click the "Extract All" option.

    Step 3

Click "Browse" if you want to specify a location for the unzipped folder. If you do not click "Browse," the files will unzip to the same directory as the original zip folder.

    Step 4

Click "Extract." A progress bar appears on screen, and you are provided with an "estimated time left" during the unzipping process. Once completed, the unzipped folder opens in a new window, and you can begin working with the files contained inside your newly uncompressed folder

  • FOR PENCIL AND STYLUS METHOD:  APPLY GRAPHITE HEAVILY TO the BACK of the image you want TO TRANSFER, WITH A PENCIL (THIS TAKES THE PLACE OF THAT SHEET OF GRAPHITE/transfer PAPER) TURN right side up AND PLACE WHERE YOU LIKE IT ON YOUR PAGE.  Trace OVER the top/front side of the IMAGE WITH THE EMBOSSING STYLUS or pencil .  GRAPHITE FROM BACK IS DEPOSITED ON YOUR PAGE, LEAVING YOUR IMAGE BEHIND! did YOU GET IT WRONG, PLACED WRONG, OR MOVE WHILE YOU WERE TRACING?  Just ERASE!  its PENCIL!

    For graphite/transfer paper method:

Do a small test on your graphite/transfer paper to see which side the graphite is on.  You want the graphite side of the transfer paper facing the bible page.  Lay the image you would like transferred on top of the graphite paper.  Use the embossing tool to trace (pencil tends to rip the transfer paper and not leave as crisp an image as the embossing tool!) I find graphite/transfer paper is a bit harder to erase than the method outlined above.
